To the Class of 1970 and all our friends,The Family of the late Ralph Satterthwaite sincerely appreciated your kind  expression of sympathy in our great Loss.   Your sympathy to our family was greatly appreciated.  The  Satterthwaite/Sims family find  healing in God\'s tender love  and in knowing others remembered and cared.  Thank  you for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers.Barbara Satterthwaite Sims

I went to school in Belhaven for about 6 months in the first part of the first grade, Mrs. Freeman was my teacher.  I have such vivid memories of those 6 months.  My teacher, the sweet smell of food in the cafeteria.  the quaint school grounds, and the walks home from school to grandma\'s house.  Everyone seem to know each other and everyone was a cousin.

I am  a student of John A. Wilkinson High School - 1989, the last class to graduated from JAW.  I would like to be informed of the class reunions that might go one in years to come.  I haven\'t seen some of my classmates in a very long time and I would love to sit and catch up!!

The close of 2010 was sad for the Class of 1970.  We lost our dear friend and classmate, Ralph Satterthwaite.  As we continue to keep his family in prayer, as believers, we know that there is no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.  So, as we continue on our journey, we cherish our memories more now than ever before!  Respectfully Submitted,The Class of 1970
