Sorry to recieve news of the passing of my dear friend, Mary B. Nimmons(Weston)! R.I.P!
Spoke recently with Kermit Griffin, been many years since his father passed. I learned of the development of his family which left me sad. Only two left of six. I hope to speak with him again since his cousin Claudia was a member of my class(1967).

THE 2007 HOMECOMING WAS TRULY THE BEST ONE THAT I EVER ATTENDED, AND ITS TRULY A BLESSING THAT THE ALUMNI IS PUSHING FORWARD AND HANGING ON. I REALLY ENJOYED SEEING OLD CLASSMATES, AND AMONG OTHERS, WHOM I DIDNT RECOGNIZED FROM WAY BACK, BUT IT WAS JUST BEAUTIFUL
Homecoming 2007 was a MAGNIFICENT event. It was especially great for us, the class of 1970. We enjoyed each other during the banquet and the Saturday festivities. Some of us were seeing each other for the first time since 1970. Others still had not seen each other very often over the years. The feeling of "being glad to be home and enjoying each other" was pervasive and the energy was unbelievable!!! We have comitted ourselves to being active in next year's homecoming, in an even bigger way, with more of our classmates in attendance. Thank you class of 1970 and I look forward to next year. Wanda
This is just plain awesome! I had a wonderful time. Sure appreciate this and look forward to doing it again. Love Pearl
Well-planned event!!! It was good to share a few hours with classmates and friends. Fantastic!!
I just wanted to thank all who made our 45th reunion a blast. All the years I have been coming home for homecoming, I had never attended any of the banquets. I'm so glad I attended this year, seeing the people I had forgotten & the ones I hadn't seen since childhood. Special thanks to my cuz, Cynthia Heath who did a wonderful job.
CLASS OF 1979 ,I WANNA SEE MORE OF MY CLASSMATES IN 2008 FAR AND NEAR,IS REALLY A GREAT EVENT.
-Greetings to All- "Special Greetings to theClass of 1970". I have heard from several of my classmates already and I am thankful and excited. Even yesterday I talked to some that I had not yet heard from. I look forward to seeing all of you at the banquet Fri. May 11, 2007, at the Wilkinson Building/Marian and Jane Dilday Fitness Center on Main St., Belhaven (The old John A. Wilkinson main building). On Saturday morning, after the 11:00 am parade, I will join you at our tent which will be set up on the grounds of the old Belhaven High School. God Bless You !!!!
Greetings Class of 1970 and all of you visiting this awesome website. What a great way to connect with classmates, friends and family - some that we haven't seen in years. I pray that this 45th anniversary of the Belhaven High School alumni will be a glorious time of fun, fellowship, full of love and ripe with memories. May God bless the organizers, the coordinators and the webmaster. I look forward to seeing each of you. So, be there!
Hello Class of 1970. Greetings & Happy New Year to All!!!!!! I hope to see you Homecoming 2007 (2nd Weekend in May). Let's try hard to get together. The banquet is an ideal place for us to share a meal and enjoy each other's company. And we can enjoy Saturday's activities as well. Please contact me via the internet or call me at 252-943-2019 or write me at 32501 US HWY. 264 East, Belhaven, N.C., 27810-9634. I no longer have my 1970 yearbook. So, if anyone has theirs, please send me a list of all of our classmates. I would like to try to contact everyone and ask them to please join us. I will need addresses and/or telephone numbers. If you know where any of our classmates are, please contact them. Have them contact me. Thanks and God Bless You. Wanda

I just love this website. I visit it everyday to see the new changes. Thanks, Pie, for coming up with this idea. Keep up the good work. PS. I saw Dwight last week.
Great web site-good to be connected again!
Hello. 9/17/06 Thank you for such an awsome tool of information and communication. May God continue to bless you as you strive to bring a cohesive atmosphere among all members of our alumni. Some of you may remember me as the oldest daughter of Mrs. Zuradia & Rev. Richard Worrell (Faye). I was in the graduating class of 1957. It would be a great pleasure to hear from any of my former classmates. I'll certainly visit again.
Great Job on the web page. I read through most of the testimonials, I haven't seen many from the Class of 82". It's great to be home after 20yrs of service. I look forward to homecomings to see everyone. God Bless.
Greeting from South korea, class of 88 never forgotten!
I am a member of the class of 1979,I went to the banquet and it was great. It was nice to see all the classes get together.

Hello, My name is Angela McClain, a member of the Class of 1984. I am the daughter of Mary Gibbs. I am also the sister of Betty Green, Evon Marsh ,Peggy Gibbs, Donnie Gibbs, Delro Gibbs and James Wilbert Credle. My first visit to the website was very exciting. Keep up the good work.
I would like to take the time to commend you for doing an outstanding job in putting this website together and getting us Belhaven Alumni together from all over the country. This is a God send for those of us who live so far away. Being with you last year, seeing so many of my classmates I hadn't seen in years, and seeing some of my teachers that I thought had gone on, brought tears to my eyes. The experience was truly the high point of my year. Although I won't be there with you physically, I will be there with you spiritually. I would like to pay tribute to my mother, the late Mable Bonner Credle, one of the 1st graduates of Belhaven High School and the late George Albert Green, one of the last graduates of Belhaven High School. They were two of the most influential people in my life. May God rest their souls and may he bless all of you. Sincerely, Lester Bonner
Hi, like so many of the rest of you, I look forward to each and every homecoming event. I especially look forward to running into old classmates and catching up on old time. The only thing I wish is that, more of the class of 1983 would be more active in the homecoming festivities.
I look forward to seeing friends and family, both near and afar, during the Homecoming weekend.
Hi Everyone, I am Wanda Whitaker Wilkinson, class of 1970. And I,like you, am enjoying this wonderful website. My hat is off to the Web Master, Johnny Clark. I always look forward to seeing everyone that comes in for homecoming. Whether I saw you year before last (I missed it last year), or whether it was some years ago---I am so looking forward to fellowshipping with all of you. We welcome everyone with open arms because we are all family. God Bless You All!!
THIS IS AWESOME! I had not been to the site since the early stages and I love seeing what has been done. Kudos, to the creators of this and what a GREAT idea. Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend this year's event but my prayers and thoughts will be with everyone. I look forward to hearing about everything.
What a wonderful website! My class (1979) will be honored this year and I look forward to coming home and seeing all of my former classmates and catching up on old times. I'm super excited to bring my husband and twins with me to see our Homecoming Parade and etc. We don't have those kinds of down home venues here in MD so they are very curious and exited about coming. See all of you in a few weeks. - Love, Peace & Blessings, Johnsie
Congratulations on a fine job. This was a great undertaking. I'll be visiting often. Thanks for bringing this together.
What a thoughtful idea to create a Belhaven Website as a mode of communication. In this society of technological advancement, this site could not have come at a better time! Granted, it was developed to share alumni information, to keep in touch, and to share upcoming alumni events. However, in the future I can see this website serving as a means to highlight what is happening in Belhaven in areas such as political leadership, educational/economic awareness, and housing/urban development. Accolades are extended to John Clark, Web master, and Cynthia Heath, President, for their expertise, and to all who contributed in making this website possible. I Thank you. Your energy, time, and effort will keep Belhaven Alumnus far and near better connected!
This is a great idea for those Belhavenites that want to reconnect with friends and family. My hat is off to all of those involved!
I lift my head with so much pride to see this website of people with whom I grew up with and have known all of my life. It is a great tribute to where we came from. I was overwhelmed with pride to see that my mother, Mable Bonner Credle, was among the first graduating class. I commend all of the people who have put time and effort in creating an obtainable piece of history that all of us can be proud of.
Thanks for this website. It was a wonderful ideal. This will keep me updated on upcoming events. Keep up the good work.
Great job Pie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for creating this fantastic website! Now I have a way to stay connected to my roots in Belhaven, and classmates from 1998.
This is a wonderful resource to learn background information about Belhaven High, it's alumnist and to stay informed of upcoming events. I look forward to hearing from the class of 1998 and others whom I haven't been in contact with. God Bless!
I just viewed the site today. Very impressive. I enjoyed looking over the teachers and principles of the past. They brought back memories. It was nice to look back at a part of my heritage at home in Belhaven.
