This was my first time on the website and I like it. I was in the last class that graduated from John A. Wilkinson High School, Class Of 1989. I enjoy looking at all the pictures, I even saw my mother, Romaine Arthur. I didnt know this existed until my daughter called me and wanted to know when was Belhaven Homecoming and I googled it. I will share this with my classmates because Im sure most of them dont know this website exist. I think all Belhaven citizens need to post something to let people find them and keep in touch. Thanks so much for this!!!!

In case some of my classmates did\'t hear, A dear friend of our class from Pantego passed on February 8, 2011 in Atlanta Ga. His name was Bernard Lovick...you know how we used to play hookie from school to school.

Information will be posted in local newspapers.Banquet - May 8, 2009 @ 7:00 - JAW CenterParade - May 9, 2009 @ 11:00 (Please see members of the class of 1966 for parade entries.)
I would like to take the time to commend you for doing an outstanding job in putting this website together and getting us Belhaven Alumni together from all over the country. This is a God send for those of us who live so far away. Being with you last year, seeing so many of my classmates I hadn't seen in years, and seeing some of my teachers that I thought had gone on, brought tears to my eyes. The experience was truly the high point of my year. Although I won't be there with you physically, I will be there with you spiritually. I would like to pay tribute to my mother, the late Mable Bonner Credle, one of the 1st graduates of Belhaven High School and the late George Albert Green, one of the last graduates of Belhaven High School. They were two of the most influential people in my life. May God rest their souls and may he bless all of you. Sincerely, Lester Bonner

I am a member of the class of 1979,I went to the banquet and it was great. It was nice to see all the classes get together.
Spoke recently with Kermit Griffin, been many years since his father passed. I learned of the development of his family which left me sad. Only two left of six. I hope to speak with him again since his cousin Claudia was a member of my class(1967).
For me this was the best homecoming yet to date. why because I had a chance to see so many old friends and they all looked great. thanks to all the people that worked so hard to put such a great event on for all of us.
To Everyone ...That didn\'t make it home to this years reunion...You really missed it. I think this is the best one ever. The Band is awesome and they get better every time I see them. God Bless All that helped to make this Anniversary special and SOOOOO Good!

05/20/08Hi Everyone. The Class of '70 had another wonderful year at the Grand Reunion II. From start to finish-it was great! We had classmates who were unable to join us in 2007 that were here this year. We were all quite excited to fellowship with each other. The Alumni Club did a great job, once again. My hat is off to them. It is a wonderful blessing to come together in friendship and comraderie. Let us continue to build new and beautiful memories. Love and Blessings to All!!Wanda "Manandonee" Whitaker Wilkinson
I just wanted to thank all who made our 45th reunion a blast. All the years I have been coming home for homecoming, I had never attended any of the banquets. I'm so glad I attended this year, seeing the people I had forgotten & the ones I hadn't seen since childhood. Special thanks to my cuz, Cynthia Heath who did a wonderful job.
Hello Everyone,Is there any special news for the coordinators going on? Everything seems to be quite. Let me hear from someone
I just love this website. I visit it everyday to see the new changes. Thanks, Pie, for coming up with this idea. Keep up the good work. PS. I saw Dwight last week.
Homecoming 2012 was great!!!! My wife I truly enjoyed all the festivities. The banquet was so delightful with good wholesome fellowship with past classmates and friends. The parade was fun and nice to watch. It was great seeing so many of the past. If a first place reward was being given for the best class tent. It would definitely go to Eddie Sherman, BJ, Wanda and the classmates of 1970. The class of 1970 had a cafe buffet under there tent. The amosphere at the Homecoming yard was charged with laughter and reminiscence about the old times. The alumni committee you did a awesome job. I commend Ms. Health and Vernette and the entire committee on a job well done with the 50th Homecoming celebration.. Thanks
To those of you who missed "homecoming 2009", I just want you to know that you missed a blast. I had a extra very good time & I enjoyed my stay at the J&L Tourist House. Special thanks to all who made this homecoming another success .

Hello. 9/17/06 Thank you for such an awsome tool of information and communication. May God continue to bless you as you strive to bring a cohesive atmosphere among all members of our alumni. Some of you may remember me as the oldest daughter of Mrs. Zuradia & Rev. Richard Worrell (Faye). I was in the graduating class of 1957. It would be a great pleasure to hear from any of my former classmates. I'll certainly visit again.
