More than 70 years have  passed since Belhaven High School opened its doors in the Fall of 1946 and fifty-six years since closing due to court-mandated desegregation during Labor Day week-end in 1968.
This page is available to all alumni who desire to add/update his/her information. You may add pictures of you and your friends during your school days and as you are now. Please include your graduation year, if applicable, after your last name(for example: Clark,Class of 1963).

As is the case with many Belhaven High School Alumni, I actually graduated from John A. Wilkinson High School.  However, I attended from grades 5-8, before the Desegegation Order resulted in my transferring to JAW in 9th Grade.  I had the proud distinction of living directly across the street from the school, at 311, W. Pantego St.  My Guardian was Miss Arletha Winfield, a proud teacher at the school.  





It was a short walk, and hard to be late.  But, of course I was, on numerous occasions.  I shall always have fond memories of "our school."  Naturally, being late is not one of them.
